Indeed, after the MIC tournament got cancelled last year at our greatest dissapointment, this year’s MIC Tournament will take place and we are really excited about it! We have been preparing for this moment and hopefully we are able to have a good performance against top level teams from around the globe.
Official draw of the 24th March
Last March 24th was held the group draw for the upcoming 2022 MIC Tournament where B1 will participate again for the fourth consecutive year. This presentation was attended by the two FC Barcelona players, Aitana Bonmatí and Nico González as figures of the tournament. Both have participated in this tournament in lower categories and they were very excited to be part of this edition.
This year B1 Soccer Academy will participate in the U20 category. The team discovered their opponents through the Youtube live made by the organization of MIC.
B1 shedule for the MIC 2022
The team coached by Didac Rodriguez, Eric Bertran and Marc Fortuny will be up against CRC Cambridge United from UK on Wednesday, April 13 at 12 pm at Camp Municipal de Santa Coloma de Farners.
The same day, at 6 pm the teams will be presented in Lloret.
Next day, the team will play the last two games of the group stage against UE Tossa de Mar, one of the host teams, and against BCN Sports Academy, both matches in Tossa de Mar.
If the team manages to qualify, it will face the qualified teams from Group C.
We are really forward to the start of the big tournament in Santa Coloma de Farners, and keep preparing for it day by day!
