New B1 Costa Rica project

We have great news coming from B1 Costa Rica. Our director from there, Michael Mora has managed to sign a collaboration agreement with the professional club Sporting de San José, in the capital, so that the boys of B1 Costa Rica can compete in the best league in the country.

In 2019 the B1 Soccer Academy project was implemented in Costa Rica where our beloved and trusted director in Costa Rica, Michael Mora, was going to supervise the whole program.

And although until now, whenever we talked about Costa Rica it was to announce a camp or training, today we announce that in this new season B1 will compete in the best league in the country with a U14 team.

“From the moment the B1 coaches arrived in Costa Rica, many players were interested in the work methodology and the philosophy of a soccer helps players improve effectively. It has not been an easy road and although we have been competing in different school leagues and playing friendly matches, now we have achieved it”.

With these words from Michael Mora, the trajectory of a group of players who have believed in our project and are now getting a nice reward is perfectly summed up.

Recently, Mora was able to take advantage of an opportunity that will change the experience of B1 players in Costa Rica. In fact, Mora was able to formalize an agreement with Sporting San Jose, a professional team in the Costa Rican first league.

Indeed, with this agreement, B1 players will become part of Sporting San Jose to represent the capital club in the UNAFUT league, an incredible opportunity to test the good work done so far. It is an amazing opportunity for B1 players to experience and compete in a high-level national league like this one.

In addition, a couple of days ago the new team was able to play their first game in a UNAFUT league tournament.  They faced Santos de Guápiles in a match of great intensity. Although the final result was not what they wanted, 5 to 3 in favor of the rivals, the sensations were very good. This is just the beginning of a long and promising road, and we will of course keep all of you updated about this project.

There are many games ahead and we wish the best to all the talented players that are representing us from Costa Rica!

We are glad to see that, even in Costa Rica, the B1 Academy is expanding and offering young talents the opportunity to become great players in the future.
