First tests for B1 team

This past Wednesday, November 7 the boys of B1 Soccer Academy have played an interesting match against the youth team of CB Terlenka in El Prat de Llobregat.

The first test for the B1 Players. A team made up of players of 11 different nationalities but with the same desire to learn from mistakes and enjoy playing soccer.

Some doubts, nerves and also a last-minute injury that has left Owen Leung, Hong Kong player, without being able to play a minute.

In the opening eleven: Sergio in goal, Alex, Eberth, Yanick and Kumar in defense, Kim and Moody in midfield accompanied on the wings by Agustin and Adam. As the attacking midfielder Sumer and Kim as a striker.

The B1 team has come out on the pitch with a lot of impetus and organization. During the first minutes of the match, both teams were groping each other to avoid making mistakes. Much play in the middle of the field, long possessions but few chances during the first 15 minutes.

Changes in the dynamics of the game proposed by Didi Rodriguez, coach of B1 Soccer Academy, have helped the team to tighten the ball exit of the team of Prat and has caused the first occasions to score a goal for B1.

After a good play, Moody has filtered a good pass to space for Agustín and after a good dribble to the goalkeeper has managed to add the first goal of the game, in the 17th minute.

But CB Terlenka’s response has been almost immediate. Just four minutes later, in the 21, and after a distant shot, the home team has managed to tie at 1 match. With this scoreboard has reached the break.

Already in the second half, they have entered the field to play Tarun minutes in defense, and Miraash and Duncan on the wings.

About 45 minutes more intense, with more plays on the flanks and many more chances in both goals. In the 62nd minute, Miraash looked for a pass to the back of the defense that Kumar has defined perfectly, putting the 1 to 2 on the scoreboard.

But the excitement has been made to wait a little longer. In the last ten minutes, there have been many opportunities, shots, stops and good plays by both teams. When there were only 9 minutes left, Terlenka tied the match. And only 2 minutes later the match came back with a good goal after a cross-shot.

The B1 team has kept trying, showing that with the attitude is key to achieving good results. And in the last play of the game, Miraash has been able to dribble the defense and goalkeeper to score the final 3 to 3.

Minutes of preparation

A very entertaining game with goals, where both teams could compete to win on the scoreboard. Despite the draw, Didi Rodriguez, General Manager and coach of the team has been very proud and satisfied with the work of the boys: “we have been able to compete and although we have been behind on the scoreboard in the last stages of the game, the boys have been able to recover, have stood up and thanks to this attitude, we have been able to draw in the last minute.”

Without a doubt, good news for the team of B1 Soccer Academy that in this way begins its preparation for one of the biggest tournaments that take place in Catalonia, the MIC2019. A new edition awaits us and we will be prepared!
