Meet Jason Cao, B1 Soccer Academy’s newest recruit coming from Cincinnati, Ohio. A new American player arrives in Barcelona to join the B1 Elite Development program.
The creative, technically gifted attacking midfielder joins us for the remainder of the season and shall also feature in our Juvenil team at the MIC 2020 tournament.

Outside of football, Jason enjoys skateboarding and exploring the city. He has played against some of the finest youth teams in the world, such as those of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid CF and Atlético de Madrid.
In preparation for the MIC tournament, he currently features for highly reputed local team CE Vila Olimpica as he aims to play in a higher division in the future and to keep building on his level of play.
“I chose B1 because it is the best way to move forward in my footballing career. I adapted to life at B1 very quickly. It was not my first year in Spain but I felt welcomed right away. The residence is in the center of Barcelona which is the coolest thing about it.”
Jason Cao describes himself as a player who likes to find pockets of space and exploits them to generate attacks and create goal scoring chances.
Player with composure on the ball and good vision, and he is focusing on improving his ability to read and interpret the game in order to master the art of dictating the team’s attacking situations.
