Duncan Bates is a wing player who can also play as a forward and stands out for his speed and incursions into the area. He is a constant threat to space and has an enormous predisposition to continue growing.

Bates is a very applied young man who knows how to listen, so his evolution and improvement is being very big. He has already participated in some friendly matches of the B1 youth team and has been incorporated again to the instructions of our Head Coach, Didi Rodriguez to start preparing to the MIC 2019 International Tournament.

A unique experience with B1

The young Canadian player trained before the Christmas holidays to begin his adaptation to Spanish football, as well as the rhythm of the morning training of B1. And we can say that the return has been incredible. 2019 has started with more strength and desire than anyone else!

During the last few years, Duncan had helped his team, Coastal FC, to win some of the provincial and regional championships held in Canada such as the Coastal Cup Regional Championship or the Provincial Cup Finals Tournament. And he arrives in Barcelona to continue improving and gaining experiences with football.

“My arrival in Barcelona has changed me. I’m enjoying every training session, every game and I’m very focused to keep improving. The level of training is incredible,  my teammates are very nice people, and I’m making very good friends. It’s amazing”.

From the B1 Staff we can only thank the passion and dedication that Duncan shows every day, it is a pleasure to work with players like him. We will continue working and improving together!
