New Striker Alert!

It is with great pleasure that we present to you yet another talented player. This time, he comes from Nigeria with dreams of becoming an improved football player in Barcelona. He will be joining for the whole 2022/2023 season, Welcome Favour!

In fact, Favour started playing football as early as he can remember. His passion grew through the years by playing and watching football on a daily basis. His attachment to the sport has led him to set goals and dream about a possible future in this world.

He moved to Kenya we he had 5 years old together with his family when he was able to practice the sport much more. He then played football on a daily basis and joined a local Academy when he was 12 years old.

Player Card: Favour Saigbe

Position: Striker & Right wing

Strengths: Finishing, speed, physicality

Weaknesses: Confidence, weaker foot, headers

Current Club: Atlètic Poble Nou

Favorite player: Lionel Messi

Favorite team: Chelsea FC

Aspiration for the season: to score as much as possible and improve his headers

As mentioned before, the young player set goals for himself and it is the reason why he decided to join B1 Soccer Academy. He is more than happy with his choice and expresses his feelings toward this new challenge:

“I feel like this is the right place for me to take my passion further and achieve my goals I set out for myself. I want to work hard towards becoming a better player and have a chance in making it to the pro world.”

Furthermore, the talented player is aware of some improvements he wants to make during his time in our Academy. He believes his confidence and his weaker foot are two main areas where he would like to improve. Anyways, he seems really excited and determined in his first training sessions with the whole B1 squad.
