B1 and Tiki Taka Barcelona

Lately, B1 Soccer Academy has been looking to expand its network nationally, but also internationally. For this reason, our commercial department has been working towards making new connexions and collaborations with companies or professionals that would see benefit from it.

Last week, we had the pleasure to meet our dear friends from Tiki Taka Barcelona, more precisely Jacobo Fernández de Liencres and Manu Valenzuela.

For short notice, Tiki Taka Barcelona Futbol League has become a reference in the amateur leagues of Barcelona, with more than 3,000 participants per season, and keeps on growing every year. They have become so popular in the area of Barcelona that they signed a sponsorship with Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.

Moreover, soccer players such as Sergi Roberto, Sergi Gòmez, Marc Bartra or David López are ambassadors of Tiki-Taka, a project that was born in Los Angeles by the hand of Pere Segarra, a former player of the youth categories of FC Barcelona and RCDE Espanyol, and arrived a couple of seasons ago in Barcelona with the collaboration of La Liga People.

In fact, about 16 players that occasionally played in the Tiki-Taka league are now represented in the revolutionary Kings League created by world-known Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos!

Therefore, B1 saw an opportunity to connect with these professionals that are passionate about football as we do and that are able to increase our brand visibility.

Since both Jacobo and Manu are influencers and attract a lot of visibility due to their projects in media such as Instagram and TikTok, we decided that a recorded set of challenges and games could be a fun and efficient way of starting our collaboration.

We kid you not, our Head Coach Marc Fortuny, Coach Eric Bertran, goalkeeper, and GK Coach Sergio Alfaro have been joining the session. They have competed against each other with little games and challenges that are trending at the moment. We have been able to see if the B1 Coaches still had it in them!

Overall, it was very fun and we were able to collect some very entertaining footages that we will be using on all of our platforms, so don’t hesitate to check it out to see who won the most challenges!

Our intention is to keep on collaborating in the future with Jacobo and Manu and send some B1 Players this time to make it harder for them.

Finally, we thank our dear friends from Tiki-Taka Barcelona for this opportunity. We wish them all the best and we will see you soon on the field! #GOB1
