Next March two Washington PacNW teams will fly to Barcelona to experience the B1 experience. In addition, and thanks to the collaboration agreement of B1 with ESS, European Soccer Solutions, the boys will compete in one of the most important tournaments in Spain at international level, the MIC 2018.
The two American teams will participate in the age categories C1 and C2 (players born after January 1st 2004 and January 1st 2005), although the groups in which they will play are not yet defined, so they do not yet know the teams they will face.
And both teams will play a minimum of 4 games. Every game will have 2 halves of 25 minutes with a 3 minutes break in between. In addition, players can be changed during the game as many times as needed. Soon we will have more information about the great experience these kids are going to have!
MICFootball is a youth football tournament celebrated in la Costa Brava (Spain) with teams and national teams coming from different countries with ages from 12 years (D class) to A class (U19), Girls 7–a-side and Integra).
The MIC celebrates its 18th edition from the 27th March to 1st of April 2018 with the same goal since the beginning: Offering any youth football player the chance to meet and compete against the most famous clubs of the World.
During the 17 years of the tournament history the MIC has counted with the participation of great teams as Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, FC Inter Milan, Sevilla FC, Málaga CF, Arsenal FC and National Selections as Brazil National Selection, Mexico National Selection, Qatar National Selection, China National Selection… among others.
The tournament has also had exceptional players that at the moment are top players known worldwide and have made their first steps at the MIC. Some of them are Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr, Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Lucas Leiva, Philipe Coutinho, Carlos Casemiro, Marcelo Vieira, Juan Mata, Olive Torres, Sergi Busquets… and some others.
