B1 Teams are ready for MIC!

The Mediterranean International Cup is coming closer and we are getting ready to rock on this year. The last edition we were close to victory and this year we are ready!!

MIC is a youth tournament celebrated in the Costa Brava with some of the world’s major clubs and national teams. The tournament provides young soccer players from all around the world the opportunity to play with the best international teams and players.

The tournament will take place this Easter in 5 intense days and hundreds of games will be played at the fields located all over Girona. Future stars will meet at MIC as many other players did in their time.

More than 7000 young players from 42 different nationalities will participate this year in 47 fields and it will be 900 games!

Next Monday 18/03 we will attend the official welcome of the Mediterranean International Cup 2019 at the city center of Barcelona. Last year Philippe Coutinho, FC Barcelona player, and Alexia Putellas, FCB Women player, were in charge of kicking off the 18th edition of the Mediterranean International Cup – MIC18.

This is the second season B1 Soccer Academy arrives at MIC. This time with 3 teams; 2 male teams and one female team for the first time!

New possibilities

With the first draws of the MIC Mediterranean International Cup, we already know the groups and rivals of our team U19, U16, and Female team.

A new year and new challenges for our kids. In this new edition of MIC, the U19 men’s team, led by Didac Rodriguez and Eric Bertran, has been placed in Group F and its rivals will be FC Locomotive Tbilisi from Georgia, the Catalan team Club Esportiu Banyoles and the British Academy Elite Union Academy.

For the U16 team, coached in this edition by our coach Victor Gonzalez and Jaume Solis, the draw has been very interesting. We have been framed with one of the TOP teams of the category, Nástic de Tarragona in Group M. The teams close the set CF Navata and Nama Sports.

And finally, in the novelty for this year’s B1, the women’s team, led by our Coach Marina Schachowskoj and his assistant Rosie Mendez, has touched us Group C and we will face Inter Milan, CF Palautordera and JFA Academy Imabari from Japan. ¡VAMOS a por todas!

At B1 Soccer Academy we believe in the educational where young players can learn through soccer international experiences important values like respect, honesty, compromise, and effort.

We can not wait for any more to live with our players this unique experience full of soccer, fun, and emotions#WeAreMIC
